Our Appeal

Ramakrishna Math & Ramakrishna Mission, Khar, Mumbai involved in various medical, rural activities, educational, spiritual, cultural and service activities in Maharashtra.
We earnestly appeal to the generous public to contribute their mite towards any of the schemes or towards the day-to-day running of various service activities of the Math & Mission, either as an endowment fund or as a general donation.

  • PAN is Mandatory for each and every Donation.

  • Insist for Receipt whenever you donate to the Math or Mission.

  • For the donations made online, the official receipt would be sent to the donors to their address within a span of 2/3 weeks.

  • Donations to Ramakrishna Math and Ramakrishna Mission are exempt from Income Tax under Section 80G of the Income Tax Act, 1961.

DONATIONS – FOREIGN CONTRIBUTION

As per the Ministry of Home Affairs Govt. of India, any Individual who does not possess the Indian Passport or an Entity in which the Govt. of India does not hold the majority stake is considered as the foreign source. And their contributions regardless of the currency or the location (country) of a Bank Account is considered as Foreign Contributions. All such inward remittances to be sent to our FCRA designated Bank Account only. To request the bank account details please write to us at mumbairkm@gmail.com along with a copy of their current Passport (not expired) and TIN (Tax Identification Number) certificate or any equivalent document for a particular country as mandated by FCRA rules.

After sending the donation, donors must inform us at mumbairkm@gmail.com with the transaction details. Copy of the receipt of the donation can be requested by E-mail as well Air-mail.

Courses Offered

Every year about 100 students are admitted to various courses of 6 months to 1 year duration.

Medical

The Centre treats about seven hundred patients every week in the Out Patient Department. Patients come from places as far as 100 km from the centre.

Agro / Farm

growing paddy, farming vegetables and fruits, livestock management

Cultural

Prayers, vedic chanting and classes

To preserve and promote traditional art and culture, the Centre encourages tribal folk dances, music and painting.

Classes

Talks and Discourses

Regular weekly classes are held on Srimad Bhagavad Gita (Sunday) and Sri Ramakrishna Vachanamrita (Thursday). Also discourses on spiritual subjects are held often.

Booksales

Book-sales & Publications Showroom

Books are available on Ramakrishna Vivekananda Literature, Hindu Scriptures, Vedanta and Spiritual Practice (Sadhana). Books for children too are there.

Retreats

Spiritual Retreats

The centre organizes day-long or half day retreats for Spirtiual Seekers twice a year. Monastic speakers are invited from other branch centres to deliver talks on various topics related to spiritual life.
